OpenCities appointed to LDA Specialist Panel

OpenCities has been appointed to a specialist consultancy panel for the London Development Agency for two years renewable for a further two years.

The appointment followed a rigourous competition in two stages in which over 400 consultancies competed.

OpenCities was appointed to 22 categories under the panel, more than any other consultancy. The categories comprise:

1) Project and Programme Management – Area based strategies – Inward investment and business retention – International benchmarking – City marketing and promotion – International networks – International trade – Networks and legacy benefits from infrastructure projects – Employment access – Worklessness – Corporate social responsibility – Sustainable procurement – SME support – Forecasting skills and employment demand – Education and training – SME productivity – Social enterprise and voluntary and communityu service

2) Policy – Employment – Education – Inward investment – Sector development – Business support – Business growth
